Just read the new Sirens of Cinema and wanted to let everyone know that our modest moderator, Serene Yong, has a terrific review of "Warriors of Heaven & Earth" in it.
Plus we get to see Vicki with a Sirens of Cinema shirt & her Actress of the Year trophy too. Very pretty, Vicki is.

Sun, February 15, 2004 - 6:18 PMSerene got it just right about WARRIORS OF HEAVEN AND EARTH. What good is having Vicki in a 2-hour film if she's only got like 5 lines in 5 minutes of screen time. Good movie but disappointing for Vicki fans...Vicki is beautiful in her flowing robes tho'. -

Tue, February 17, 2004 - 11:40 PMYes she is.. is real disappointing with less than 10 lines and each scene is like only about 1 mins of her... but she is pretty and very feminine in this movie.
But well, still have some room for improvement! :)

I once answred a request on another forum to beta read a particular fanfic, got so into doing it that I virtually rewrote the story and wound up with a co-author credit. Now we've got 4 x chapters posted on different forums & ideas for the next two chapters, (writers block, which I'm slowly coming out of).
Give it a go Pip! Casey & Serene both suggested that I try it, the magazine certainly won't stop you from submitting articles & if they're good, might even publish them, if they're really good, you might even get paid :) -
