Sat, July 10, 2004 - 7:46 PMI watched this on a vcd and it looked & sounded like Vicki was being dubbed by someone else. It was Cantonese......does Vicki speak Cantonese??? If she does, why would someone else dub her in a movie? The whole ting sounded dubbed by actors who were not the real actors, IMO -

Chinese Odyssey 2002

Vicki co-stars alongside Faye Wong & there are moments in this film, (Vicki stars as inn-keeper Phoenix), when she is so funny, her facial expressions, general humour, OMG. It really made it a fun film to watch.....
The movie itself is a parody, but the use of saturated colour, alternated with normal colour & even black & white, made it interesting visually. beautiful scenery...
Ancient China must've been such an incredible place......... so civilised, so urban...... amazing -

Sat, July 31, 2004 - 12:58 AMDon't know how they figured that one, as far as I coud see Vicki & Faye had pretty much equal time on-screen, especially given that the film was based around the three characters, Dragon, Phoenix & Wang aka the Princess......... -
